This phase of the campaign will consist of six messages of wide support which Serbia is getting from the world for its principled policy of preserving state sovereignty and territorial integrity by reaching a compromise solution for the future status of Kosovo-Metohija, in line with international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
Serbia’s efforts aimed at respecting territorial integrity are based on respect for international law and the policy of a peaceful means to reaching a compromise agreement concerning the future status of Kosovo-Metohija.
In that process Serbia has direct support from very important, influential countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, meaning some 160 UN member countries.
"We are not alone" is a slogan which emphasises that Serbia is not alone in its policy of preserving state sovereignty because its position is supported by some of the most influential states, great and growing powers, democracies with large populations – Russia, China, India, Brazil, Argentina, the South African Republic and others.
"Europe knows it too" is part of the campaign which focuses on the fact that Serbia is not alone or isolated in Europe either in her efforts to protect its state sovereignty because important members of the EU – Spain, Romania, Slovakia, Greece – support Serbia’s principled policy and are against the recognition of so-called independent Kosovo and violation of international law.
The "Kosovo is Serbia" campaign is advertised on billboards in Belgrade and across Serbia, the statement added.
