Jeremic told B92 TV that this is a step backwards in Serbia’s relations with those countries, adding that any country that recognises Kosovo and decides to violate Serbia’s and territorial integrity cannot count on the same relations with Serbia as before.
He stressed that the foreign ministries of these countries were sent protest notes and Serbian ambassadors have been withdrawn for consultations.
The Minister said that it is regrettable that these countries did not adopt an independent foreign policy, but succumbed to foreign pressure.
Countries which decided to strike such a blow to a neighbouring country should not count on having the same kind of relations, reiterated Jeremic and added that no country in the world would agree to that.
Speaking about recalling ambassadors from countries which recognise the independence of Kosovo, the Minister explained that Serbia must react in a diplomatic manner otherwise it will not be taken seriously.
He said that implementation of the action plan will continue and Serbia will express its opposition to any country that decides to recognise the independence of Kosovo.
