The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that the first session of the tender commission in charge of the sale of 34,073 shares (59.8% of the capital) of Belgrade-based Optika, which began on December 17, 2007, opened the offers yesterday, March 18.
The statement adds that six offers were submitted by the deadline which ended on December 7 at 4:30 pm. The offers were made by Salmoiraghi & Vigano SPA from Italy, Fidelinka from Subotica, Grossoptic from Belgrade, Home Art & Sales Services AG from Wollerau, Switzerland, a consortium of legal persons comprising Veterinarski Zavod Zemun and Beta ITH PBB from Belgrade and a consortium of legal persons comprising Lilly Drogerie from Belgrade and Fins Trade from Belgrade.
The tender commission will officially announce the results after its second session, which will be held once the bids are assessed, adds the statement.
