Dinkic said that the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development will set aside a monthly grant of RSD 30 million starting from March until the end of the year to purchase intermediate goods and raise pay .
He explained that all six arms factories should submit their business plans by the end of the month so that the government could propose converting the debts of those factories into state capital.
With state subsidies, the arms industry can survive and can have a future, he noted adding that only if Serbia cooperates with the world can it have secure businesses and workers can good wages.
Dinkic said he will be happy once the Kragujevac arms maker’s exports exceed $100 million per annum, up from $30 million planned for this year.
Sutanovac announced that a deal on the purchase of 1,500 M21 rifles for the Serbian army, manufactured to NATO standards, will be made this year and added that the state will promote Serbian arms products worldwide.
