112 kilos of heroin seized

The Serbian Ministry of Interior said today it seized 112 kilograms of heroin from a Turkish national who tried to smuggle it to Serbia on the Gradina border crossing on August 14.
The heroin was wrapped in 500 gram packages and hidden in specially designed containers in the suspect’s automobile, reads the statement.
The Turkish citizen has been handed over to the Pirot police department, according to the statement.
