Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic and world famous geneticist and member of the jury that will decide who will get the first 204 new Serbian passports Miodrag Stojkovic concluded today that investing in human capital and science are of crucial importance for Serbia.

The statement issued by the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister says that Doctor Stojkovic expects to get a licence from the Serbian Ministry of Health to open a special hospital for artificial insemination in Leskovac.
Djelic supported the intention of our scientists to start the medical application of stem sells in Serbia and thus encourage some 50 eminent experts of Serbian origin to return to Serbia temporarily or for good to work on this project.
The project would be implemented over the next five years and would cost between €8 million and €10 million, it is added in the statement.
