SIEPA backs export-oriented marketing companies

The Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) has announced the fourth competition for granting RSD 60 million in non-repayable assistance to small and medium-sized companies for export marketing.
A company can be granted between RSD 150,000 and RSD 1,500,000. The deadline for submitting applications is April 11.
The funds will be allocated through a public competition and up to 50% of the costs of the chosen activities will be reimbursed, VAT excluded.
In the previous three rounds a total of RSD 165 million was paid out. Since the programme began in mid-2006, funds were allocated to 269 companies out of 530 which originally applied to the programme.
In most cases, the funds were granted for the purposes of participating in international fairs, as well as for promotional material.
