Construction works on Horgos-Pozega motorway to begin on April 1

Serbian Minister of Infrastructure Velimir Ilic said today in Uzice that the concessionaire for construction of the Horgos-Pozega motorway will be introduced on March 31, while construction works will begin the next day.
Speaking about the section of the motorway from Pozega to the Adriatic, the minister explained that expert groups will offer solutions as to which route is the most profitable – the one through Ivanjica and Sjenica, or through the Zlatibor mountain and Nova Varos.
Ilic confirmed that in any case the motorway will include Zlatibor since this tourist place will be located at the crossroads of motorways leading to the seaside and Visegrad.
