The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has so far invested RSD 118 million in the construction of this apartment and office building, and another RSD 24 million will be secured for its completion. A part of the Centre for social work will also be placed in this facility and it will provide home care services.
During the visit to the building in Nemanjina Street in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, Ljajic said that representatives of that ministry visit municipalities in Kosovo-Metohija every Wednesday because they want to define very clear priorities related to assisting citizens in the southern province.
We want citizens in Kosovo-Metohija to fully exercise all the rights they have as enjoyed by all other citizens of the Republic of Serbia, Ljajic said and added that his ministry is continuing in its attempts to secure necessary additional funds so that in June the tenants could move in.
In Kosovska Mitrovica, the Minister also visited the Centre for social work, and after that he will also visit the Centre for social work in Zubin Potok, and the Stanic family that has six children.
