Vojislav Kostunica
In a statement to the news agency Tanjug, Kostunica said that instead of becoming divided on the question of EU membership, we should remember that most important is to define our goal as a state and a nation with unity, which is that Serbia in its entirety can be a member of three, and most significant for us, international organizations – the UN, the OSCE and the EU.
The Serbian Prime Minister said that a large majority of citizens and parliamentary parties support a unified state and national policy according to which Kosovo-Metohija is an integral and inalienable part of our country.
Serbia in its entirety is a member of the UN and the fictitious state of Kosovo will never be accepted into the UN, said Kostunica and recalled that Serbia as a whole is a member of the OSCE and that is why the fictitious state of Kosovo will never enter the OSCE.
According to such a unified state and national policy, Serbia in its entirety, with Kosovo-Metohija within its borders, can be a member of the EU. We want to join the EU but the EU should also say that it wants among its ranks a whole, not mutilated, Serbia, stressed Kostunica.
