Greater integration of Kosovo tax system into Serbian state institutional system

Serbian Minister of Finance Mirko Cvetkovic said today in Kosovska Mitrovica that the aim of the government and the relevant ministry is to integrate the province’s financial and tax system into the Serbian state institutional system.
Accompanied by associates, Cvetkovic visited the affiliate office of the Tax Administration in Kosovska Mitrovica to give support to the Serbs in the southern province.
He recalled that the Serbian government rejected the unilateral proclamation of independence by Kosovo as an illegal act contrary to international law.
State Secretary Miodrag Djidic announced better working conditions for employees in the Tax Administration and the Treasury.
He said that an educational centre for tax and financial officers will be set up in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.
We are here to show that Serbia is functioning in Kosovo-Metohija the State Secretary said and added that there will be more visits like this.
