Members of a delegation of US religious communities, led by President of the Institute on Religion and Public Policy Joseph Grieboski, visited the Devic monastery in Kosovo-Metohija today.
Grieboski said that one cannot express oneself with words when faced with scenes of such destruction. He stressed that the international community had come to Kosovo-Metohija to improve the conditions in which people were living, and added that it now owes an apology for its failure to do so.
The US delegation prayed in front of the torched Devic altar.
The delegation also met with Serbs who had returned to Kosovo-Metohija and handed over medicines and medical supplies to the clinic in the village of Kos.
