Samardzic on visit to central Kosovo today

Serbian Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Slobodan Samardzic and his associates will visit central Kosovo today to encourage Serbs living in that area to remain in their homes.
The Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija stated that during the visit Samardzic will also meet with UN Secretary General’s Special Representative Joachim Ruecker. The meeting is scheduled for 10:30 am in Novi Babovac.
With this visit, Samardzic also wants to help stabilise the situation in the province, which is why cooperation between the Serbian state organs on the one side and UNMIK and KFOR on the other is crucial.
