Serbian Minister of Education Zoran Loncar stated today that Serbia should protest against the unilateral declaration of independence by Kosovo-Metohija in a peaceful manner, because violence and demolition inflict serious damage to state and national interests.
In a statement to the news agency Tanjug regarding the disorder that broke out last night following the
protest held under the slogan "Kosovo is Serbia", Loncar said that Serbia should oppose legal violence at such outstanding gatherings.
He also thanked Republika Srpska Prime Minister Milorad Dodik for taking part in the protest and addressing the people who gathered to show that Kosovo-Metohija is a part of Serbia.
We highly appreciate the Prime Minister’s support to fight with law and justice against the gross violation of international law, stressed Loncar.
