Djelic conveys message of protest against EU decision to send mission to Kosovo

Serbian Deputy Prime Minster Bozidar Djelic conveyed a message of severe protest on behalf of the Serbian government to representative of current holder of the EU Council Presidency, Slovenian Ambassador Miroslav Luci against the EU’s decision to send its mission to Kosovo-Metohija.
Djelic said that the Serbian government considers this decision to be illegitimate since it was made without the approval of the Security Council, and explicitly opposes the arrival of the EU mission without a clear legal basis which can be provided solely by the Security Council.
The meeting was also attended by Head of the European Commission Delegation in Serbia Josep Lloveras.
