Minister Jocic’s postoperative recovery takes positive turn

Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic stated today that the postoperative recovery of Interior Minister Dragan Jocic and his driver Mirko Damjanovic has taken a positive turn.
Milosavljevic, who is also heading the expert team in charge of Minister Jocic’s medical treatment, said that considering the severity of the spinal injuries which Jocic suffered in a road accident a week ago on the Belgrade-Nis motorway, it will take several weeks to say with certainty how well he is actually recovering.
He recalled that following the accident Jocic was immediately taken to the Banjica Orthopedic Institute where he underwent surgery, whereas Damjanovic, who had sustained internal injuries, was operated on in Belgrade’s Emergency Centre.
