41st International White Cross Belgrade held

Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Samardzic-Markovic opened today the 41st international cross-country race White Cross Belgrade, at the Kosutnjak sports centre.
The event was organised by the 21. Maj athletic club and Rakovica Sports Association and supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, City Secretariat for Youth and Sports and the European Athletic Association.
Goran Stojiljkovic won in the senior men’s 8,000 metres category, while in the senior women’s 3,000 metres category Ana Subotic was the winner.
Muamer Hasanagic won in the men’s junior’s 4,000 metres race, and Nemanja Cerovac in the category for younger than 17.
Bogdana Mimic won in the women’s junior category and Amela Terzic in the girls’ category.
Aleksandar Milosavljevic and Lazarevac Marko Rankovic were best in the 1,000 metres race for members of the military and police force. For the first time in the history of this event, a women’s race was also held in this category. Winners were Nevena Jovanovic and Leposava Markovic.
