Energy agreement with Russia good strategic move, says Jeremic

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic said today prior to his visit to Moscow that the signing of the energy agreement between Serbia and Russia is a good move strategically since it ensures long-term energy stability for Serbia.
In a statement to the Radio France Internationale, Jeremic stressed that the agreement is very appealing because it ensures long-term energy stability and energy supplies to Serbia and the entire Balkan region.
He also noted that energy is becoming the key resource in the world, which is why the future and prosperity of any economy will depend on energy. This is the key parameter according to which foreign investors will decide whether to invest in a country and its industry or not, added Jeremic.
The Minister recalled that after thorough consideration, the Serbian government unanimously decided to sign this document.
