Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic said today that signing of the agreement on cooperation in the field of energy with Russia is of strategic importance for Serbia and that terms of the agreement are still being negotiated.
In a statement to Radio Television B92, Djelic said that there is no fixed deadline for Serbia to choose whether to sign the agreement, but that it will be signed when both sides agree on all terms.
The most important thing for Serbia's negotiators is to achieve the best conditions for the gas pipeline's route through Serbia and strategic partnership in the Serbian oil industry, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
