Popovic laid a cornerstone for a kindergarten in Ranilug and opened a section of the Faculty of Philosophy.
Samardzic said that Serbia will continue to invest in the province and thus show that it will never give up on its province.
The Minister called on Serbs to remain in Kosovo-Metohija and pointed out that the state will help them.
He said that by opening and building new facilities, the state of Serbia wanted to show its presence in the province, noting that investments will prove that Kosovo is part of democratic Serbia that is stable and is developing.
This is evidence that Serbia wants to invest in Kosovo and that it treats this region as part of its territory, he said noting that Serbia does not intend to discriminate anyone.
Popovic stressed that next week the Serbian government will send UNMIK representatives and the international community a project on supplying free-of-charge electric energy to all Serbian communities in the province and thus finally end the several year long electricity restrictions.
There are 14 zones and over 90% of Serbs living in the territory that is south to the Ibar River, they will constantly have electricity, the Minister explained and noted that with these moves Serbs is showing its care about citizens.
The Serbian government delegation also visited the village of Vrbovac, municipality of Kosovska Vitina, where works on kindergarten and culture centre began. Also, computers were delivered to the Marko Rajkovic primary school.
During the day, Samardzic and Popovic will visit Strpce.
