Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic and Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, who is also presiding over the EU Council of Europe, agreed today that Serbia must sign the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU.

Jeremic announced that Serbia has fulfilled the condition for the signing of SAA, which is full cooperation with the International Tribunal for War Crimes in The Hague.
According to Jeremic, Serbia understands and accepts cooperation with the tribunal and has given great effort and now that condition has been fulfilled.
Rupel announced that he will discuss with Hague prosecutor and his European colleagues in the Netherlands on the possibility of signing SAA at the first next session of EU foreign ministers on January 28.
Jeremic also met today with Slovene President Danilo Türk.
Slovenia and Serbia signed today a letter of intention on cooperation of Serbian institutions with the Centre for European Future.
