Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic said tonight in Berlin that Serbia’s two strategic goals include preservation of its sovereignty and its European integration, which Serbia wants to carry out with equal strength.

After meeting with his German counterpart Frank Walter Steinmeier, Jeremic said that Serbia considers that a compromise should be the key to the future status of Kosovo.
He noted that talks on the future status of Kosovo will continue with German partners in upcoming weeks.
The Serbian Foreign Minister expressed assurance that Serbia will sign the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU on January 28.
Steinmeier expressed hope that full agreement will be reached within the EU by January 28 on signing SAA with Serbia.
He said that it would be important to reach unity within the EU, noting that the signing of this agreement with Serbia would be in the interest of all.
