“If the EU makes the illegal decision to send its mission, the SAA, which was initialled with Serbia, will thus be annulled and put out of force. Thus, we have come to the point when the EU must make a choice and decide whether it wants the whole and internationally recognised Serbia as its partner or create a quasi-state on Serbia’s territory.
If the EU is guided by European values and principles, it will choose to sign the SAA with Serbia, thus acknowledging and respecting its territorial integrity. If it remains under the increasing pressure of the US, it will make an illegal and anti-European decision to send its mission.
Therefore, on January 28, the EU will choose whether it wants to take part in the dismemberment of Serbia or sign the SAA with Serbia as its partner. The one excludes the other, so the EU cannot tear Serbia apart and sign the SAA with such Serbia at the same time. Serbia has clearly stated that it wants the agreement with the EU; it is now on the EU to make an equally clear statement: whether it sees Serbia as its partner or will it send its mission and make a puppet creation in line with Ahtisaari’s plan”, reads the Prime Minister’s statement.
