Serbian Assistant Minister of Justice Mirjana Tadic delivered today computer equipment donated by the European Commission to the presiding judges of the municipal courts in Paracin, Despotovac, Svilajnac and Raca.
Tadic said that through the European Agency for Reconstruction, and as part of the support to the reforms of Serbia’s judicial system, 82 general jurisdiction courts will be equipped with that kind of equipment so as to improve their IT infrastructure.
In the following two months 753 computers, 620 printers, 348 net-printers and 142 multifunction devices will be distributed to the courts, specified the Assistant Minister of Justice. She added that after the courts have been equipped, they will be connected with the Ministry of Justice and the High Judicial Council.
Presiding judge of the Paracin municipal court Radoslav Simic expressed his gratitude for the donation and underlined that this municipal court has been one of the best and most efficient courts for the past five years.
Simic pointed to the fact that this computer equipment will fully equip the court, which means that this institution will work better in the future.
