Serbia’s retail prices in July rose 1.4 percent from a month earlier, with prices of goods increasing by 1.8 percent and prices of services inching up 0.3 percent, the Serbian Statistics Office said in a statement. Compared with December 2003, retail prices rose 6.6 percent.
The cost of living rose 0.8 percent against June, or 7.4 percent compared with December 2003.
The prices of agricultural produce fell 16.6 percent. The prices of food and non-food products grew 1.5 percent and four percent respectively, while beverage prices inched up 0.3 percent.
The prices of services also rose 0.3 percent.
