Kostunica told Tanjug news agency that the main goal is creation of a puppet NATO state in which, as stipulated in Annex 11 of the Ahtisaari plan, the supreme authority would be the NATO.
According to Kostunica, everyone knows that there can be no such thing as monitored independence, because monitoring and independence are mutually exclusive terms.
Up to now, the real name for monitored states was puppet states and now we can see how the US and NATO are trying to put that into practice. The only thing that was missing was for Serbia to accept Ahtisaari's plan and thus legitimise the bombing, deployment of NATO troops in Kosovo and the creation of a puppet NATO state, the Serbian Prime Minister said.
He said that Serbia chose to reveal and confront this violence and reject a puppet NATO state together with Ahtisaari's plan.
The UN Security Resolution 1244, the UN Charter and the Serbian Constitution are valid for Serbia, which all guarantee that the province of Kosovo-Metohija is an integral and inalienable part of Serbia, Kostunica underlined.
