Jeremic on two-day visit to New York

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic will talk today in New York with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon about the resolution of future status of Kosovo-Metohija.

The meeting of Jeremic and the UN Secretary-General is scheduled to take place today afternoon by Central European Time.
During his two-day visit to New York, Jeremic will also speak with ambassadors of the UN Security Council member states about Serbia's endeavours to continue negotiations on Kosovo-Metohija, find a compromise solution and preserve Serbia's territorial integrity.
This visit is occasioned by the pending submission of report of the Contact Group's troika of envoys to the UN Secretary-General, after which he will forward the report to the UN Security Council together with his letter.
The document which representatives of the US, the EU and Russia - Frank Wisner, Wolfgang Ischinger and Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko have already harmonised with governments of their states will be examined on December 19 in the UN Security Council.
