The Serbian Ministry of Finance stated that in the first 11 months of 2007 the Serbian budget recorded a RSD 37.5 billion surplus, with revenues of RSD 525.8 billion and expenditures of RSD 488.3 billion.
The statement adds that the surplus was achieved thanks to better collection of revenues and more economic spending and announced that it will lead a responsible fiscal policy in the upcoming period.
The Ministry of Finance also recalled that the 2007 budget projected a deficit of RSD 13.7 billion.
