Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic stated today that this ministry and other state organs submitted to the Serbian government an action plan that includes measures to be taken in case of unilateral proclamation of independence of Kosovo-Metohija.
Jeremic told journalists that these measures are still being discussed and expressed hope there would be no need to implement them as Serbia believes that a compromised solution can be stable and long-lasting and will prevail within the international community.
Serbia will continue its diplomatic battle so that at the UN Security Council session on December 19 it can point out the necessity of continuing Kosovo status dialogue, he said.
Jeremic explained that the action plan envisions measures in the case of every scenario and added that he cannot disclose details as the plan is state secret.
