President of the National Council for Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Rasim Ljajic stressed in a meeting with Slovak Foreign Minister Jan Kubis that Serbia is trying to make additional progress in cooperation with that court so that it could sign the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU at the end of January.

Ljajic presented Kubis with activities of the action team in locating the remaining Hague fugitives and reiterated Serbia’s interest to end cooperation with the ICTY as soon as possible.
Kubis expressed support to Serbia’s European perspective and pointed out to the importance of the report by ICTY’s Chief Prosecutor Carla del Ponte for the signing of SAA.
