Aim of reform of secondary technical education introduction of new occupations

Serbian Minister of Education Zoran Loncar said today that the basic aims of the reform of secondary technical education in Serbia are introduction of new occupations and application of the existing legislation in that field.
At the opening of the conference "Reform of the secondary technical education in Serbia", held as part of the Fourth education fair in Novi Sad, Loncar said that education should be available to all those interested in it.
He said that there is increasing interest of employers to get included in the reform of the educational system so that it could respond better to economy's needs and added that it is very encouraging that students with newly-introduced occupations find job much more quickly after they leave school.
The fourth education fair will be held until December 1 in Novi Sad fairgrounds, and it gathers 70 exhibitors from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Hungary and Serbia.
