Austria backs “A-Tec Industries” AG in efforts to acquire RTB Bor

The Serbian Privatisation Agency sent on November 27 an official request to the Austrian Embassy seeking information about Austrian citizen Mirko Kovac, owner of "A-Tec Industries" AG.
The Austrian Embassy replied in a letter dated November 29 and signed by Ambassador Gerhard Jandl, stating that there is no criminal investigation or legal sentence against Kovac.
The Embassy also expressed its full support to efforts of Kovac’s "A-Tec Industries" AG to take over mining and metallurgical complex RTB Bor.
"A-Tec Industries" AG is a respected company and this offer can only help promote bilateral economic ties between Serbia and Austria, the Embassy stated.
