This draft was made by the Slovenian ministry, after the model of agreements made with other ex Yugoslav republics. Serbia is the only one of those republics which does not have a social insurance agreement with Slovenia.
In Serbia there are 7,213 insurance users who worked more than one year in Slovenia or in Slovenian companies in Serbia, and who are waiting to exercise their rights, first of all to receive pensions, in line with this agreement.
Serbia is already paying pensions to 3, 644 persons who worked less than 12 months in Slovenia.
According to him, Serbia will respond to the proposed draft agreement already next week and will make efforts that the agreement be signed as soon as possible.
Ljajic also met today with Minister of Public Administration Gregor Virant and State Secretary at the Slovenian government Andrej Ster.
