Serbian Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic with associates met today with a delegation of Intel, world’s leader in information and microprocessor technologies.

Dinkic announced that IT sector will be given priority and added that incentive measures include construction of a modern IT park in Indjija.
He noted that one of the priority tasks of this Ministry is to stop the drain of IT experts and to make it possible for young experts to find a good quality and well-paid job in Serbia.
Intel vice-president John Davies said that the company’s plans correspond to those of the Ministry, adding that it is not accidental that Intel opened its regional office in Belgrade, from which it will cover the former Yugoslavia region and Albania.
He expressed Intel’s readiness to significantly speed up the development of IT sector in Serbia, including production of first made-in-Serbia laptop.
