A three-day round of talks between the Serbian state negotiating team and representatives of Kosovo Albanians on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija, mediated by the Contact Group’s troika, start today in Baden near Vienna.

The talks will last until November 28, which is the last planned round before December 10, when the international mediators are to hand over a report to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
The Serbian state negotiating team will be led by Serbian President Boris Tadic and Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica.
The international mediating troika represented by Wolfgang Ischinger, Frank Wisner and Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko should visit Belgrade and Pristina before submitting the report to the UN on December 3.
