I condemn this act of violence in the harshest terms and request from UNMIK police and the Kosovo police service to find the perpetrators as soon as possible, Samardzic said.
He said that just as before, Serbs live in fear and uncertainty and that with this act the perpetrators want to intensify those feelings among Kosovo Serbs. It is obvious that anxiety is growing in many people ahead of the resolution of the province’s status, Samardzic said.
Now that everyone, especially the Serbian side, wants to prove that it is possible to resolve the issue of the Kosovo status, it is very important to see clearly who makes those incidents and intimidates Kosovo Serbs.
Representatives of the Kosovo police service stated that unidentified persons threw Molotov cocktails on the family house of Stojanka Petkovic in Zvecan around 9 pm.
Petkovic said that three bombs were thrown - one on her house, second on the garage and the third on the car.
At the moment of the attack, Petkovic's husband, daughter and mother-in-law were in the house.
There were no injured in the attack, but substantial material loss was made on the garage and the car.
