Serbia's negotiating team ready to continue talks on proposal of Contact Group's troika

The Serbian Prime Minister's Media Advisor Srdjan Djuric said late yesterday that Serbia's negotiating team did not reject the proposal of the Contact Group's negotiating troika, outlined in 14 points on the future status of Kosovo, during the talks in Vienna.
In a statement to Beta news agency, Djuric said that Reuters agency "intentionally or unintentionally, but completely wrongly" reported the words of Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica from a press conference held after the Vienna talks.
At that press conference, Kostunica did not say that Serbia rejected 14 points proposed by the troika, but underlined that Serbia gave its amendments in a constructive way, as always, of which the most important are amendments to the first, second, fifth, sixth and 14th point, Djuric said.
He added that the Serbian Prime Minister stressed that Serbia presented serious arguments in favour of its amendments and that Serbia's negotiating team is of course ready to continue talks on the 14 points of the troika's proposal.
At that press conference, Kostunica did not say that Serbia rejected 14 points proposed by the troika, but underlined that Serbia gave its amendments in a constructive way, as always, of which the most important are amendments to the first, second, fifth, sixth and 14th point, Djuric said.
He added that the Serbian Prime Minister stressed that Serbia presented serious arguments in favour of its amendments and that Serbia's negotiating team is of course ready to continue talks on the 14 points of the troika's proposal.
