Dinkic’s 2006 finance minister of the year award as great credit for Serbia

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica hosted a reception tonight following the 2006 finance minister of the year award granted by leading financial and banking magazine “Euromoney” to Serbian Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic and pointed out that this award is a great credit for Serbia.

Kostunica expressed satisfaction with successful cooperation with Dinkic in the government’s two mandates, noting that this award is a result of that cooperation.
Dinkic said that this prize is the acknowledgment for Serbia and for the team that managed to make a step ahead in the economic sector in the country. He noted that the Serbian government will continue to lead Serbia toward the EU as well as work on improving citizens’ living standards as membership isn’t any use if citizens do not live better.
Serbia must be respected in the world and we will invest all our professional energy so that our country gets the recognition it deserves, the Minister said.
