During the meeting, it was emphasised that the construction work on the Danube Corridor is proceeding according to the planned dynamics, given that 31.8 kilometres of the high-speed road were put into operation in February last year, while the remaining 36.14 kilometres are planned to be completed and successively put into operation during this year.
Special emphasis was placed on future projects, including the Vožd Karađorđe high-speed road and the second phase of the development of the Constantine the Great airport in Niš, which are of strategic importance for connecting regions, economic growth and attracting new investments.
