Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić met today with the Ambassadors of the Russian Federation, Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko, and the Republic of Belarus, Siarhei Malinouski, to discuss bilateral relations, the regional situation and current geopolitical issues.

Đurić and the ambassadors reviewed the most important aspects of Serbia’s relations with Russia and Belarus, as well as political and economic developments in the Western Balkans region.
Relevant global issues were also considered in light of the current geopolitical situation.
The head of Serbian diplomacy expressed gratitude to Russia and Belarus for their principled stance on the issue of Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as for their support in international organisations.
The importance of maintaining continuous dialogue and continuing cooperation in areas of mutual interest was emphasised, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
