Ilic stressed on the occasion that the Serbian government invested RSD 25 million in the construction of these houses, while the Novi Pazar municipality secured the location and financed the entire infrastructure.
Following today’s meeting with president of the Novi Pazar municipality Suljeman Ugljanin the Minister said that intensive work is being done on construction of communal infrastructure in the municipality, as well as in Tutin and Sjenica and special attention will be given to rural areas so that further migration of population from villages to cities may be stopped.
He also said that the Ministry of Infrastructure will open an office in Novi Pazar so that realisation of infrastructure projects may be accelerated.
According to Ilic, a public garage will be built in Novi Pazar and as envisaged by the development strategy for that area the construction of the Tutin-Sjenica road will begin this year.
He stated that when construction of the ring road finishes, Novi Pazar will become a modern European city.
Ugljanin said that opening an office of the Infrastructure Ministry in Novi Pazar will contribute to faster and more efficient resolution of people’s problems.
According to Ugljanin, a lot has been done in the Novi Pazar municipality, particularly on the construction of streets, and it is expected that the Ministry of Infrastructure will provide significant support when it comes to regulating river banks.
