The Serbian government decided at its session today to increase the number of self-financing students at some state-owned faculties and two-year colleges for the school year 2004/2005, since the university degree studies attract a large number of potential students.
The government amended the decree on measures for boosting agricultural production in 2004 and approved statutes of the Agency for registration of economic entities and the National corporation for housing loan insurance.
The information on hiring a privatisation advisor for telecommunication companies was adopted.

Chairman of the Commission is Assistant Minister of Economy Mira Prokopijevic, and the members are Assistant Minister of Finance Vesna Dzinic, Assistant Minister of Capital Investment Bratislav Blagojevic, Assistant Minister of Justice Sladjana Jovanovic and Director General of the Serbia public telecommunications company Dragan Kovacevic.

The government closed the session by adopting an information which binds all members of the Serbian government and officials appointed by the Serbian government to adjust their position with the provisions of the Law on prevention of conflict of interest in the discharge of public office by July 27, 2004.
