The presentation of the Free Trade Agreement between Serbia-Montenegro and Romania, which came into effect on July 1, was held in Kikinda and Timisoara today. The presentation was opened by Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Predrag Bubalo and State Secretary at the Romanian Ministry of Economy and Trade Georget Molosaga.
Romanian Ambassador to Belgrade Stefan Glavan, Consul General of Serbia-Montenegro in Timisoara Milos Uscebrka, the presidents of regional chambers of commerce of Kikinda and Timisoara, and organisers of the event addressed numerous businessmen and representatives of administration of the two countries.
The marking of the beginning of implementation of the agreement aims to inform businessmen in more detail on the role, advantages and ways of functioning of this agreement which should increase the volume of trade and improve overall bilateral economic relations between the two countries, read a statement by the Ministry of International Economic Relations.
