Serbian Minister of Kosovo-Metohija Slobodan Samardzic stated today that Belgrade is ready to hear any proposal of Kosovo Albanians, but the plan on good neighbourly relations, which they brought to the New York meeting, does not deal with status-related issues.
Vuk Jeremic
Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic said that direct talks with representatives of Kosovo Albanians were a great step forward, most of all because the two sides agreed to continue the talks.
Jeremic announced that at the next meeting, scheduled for October 14 in Brussels, the Serbian delegation will present its detailed plan on wide autonomy, which will be the first opportunity to do such a thing since the talks began.
We will answer all the questions that Albanians pose in Brussels, said Jeremic and stressed that the talks must be continued until the solution for the Kosovo-Metohija status is found.
