Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Samardzic-Markovic said today that the success of rowers Nikola Stojic and Goran Jagar at the European Championship in Poland is exceptional and that such people and such dedication and team work should serve as an example to the Serbian youth.

At a reception held in the honour of the success of Serbian rowers, also attended by State Secretary of the Ministry Vlajko Senic and Assistant Minister Aleksandar Sostar, the Minister congratulated the rowing four Milos Tomic, Goran Nedeljkovic, Veljko Urosevic and Nenad Babovic on winning silver, and Iva Obradovic and coxless four Nenad Ninkovic, Cedomir Nikitovic, Goran Todorovic and Jovan Popovic on winning the fourth and fifth places respectively.
Rower Nikola Stojic said that the Serbian national team will try to prepare well for 2008 Olympics in Beijing and present Serbia as good as possible.
