Conclusion of cooperation with ICTY in Serbia's interest

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said today at a meeting with Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Carla del Ponte that Serbia is determined to complete cooperation with the tribunal as soon as possible because that is in Serbia's interest.
Carla del Ponte said that it is very important that all indictees are brought before the tribunal as soon as possible.
The meeting was also attended by President of the National Council for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal Rasim Ljajic, War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic and Secretary of the Council for National Security Miodrag Rakic.
