The Serbian negotiating team met this evening in London with the international troika of envoys of the Contact Group within the framework of preparations for the first direct talks between Belgrade and Pristina on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija, scheduled to take place in New York on September 28.

Prior to the beginning of the meeting with the troika of envoys, Samardzic stressed in a statement for the Radio Television of Serbia that the negotiating team from Belgrade is ready to present the concrete proposal regarding the agenda for negotiations which will be held in October and November.
Samardzic and Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic are leading the Belgrade delegation in talks with the troika of envoys from the EU, US and Russia, Wolfgang Ischinger, Frank Wisner Aleksandar Bocan Harchenko.
The Serbian delegation includes Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Feodor Starcevic, Assistant Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Branislav Alendar, chief legal advisor at the Foreign Ministry Gaso Knezevic and representatives of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija Marko Jaksic and Goran Bogdanovic.
