Belgrade delegation proposes agenda for direct negotiations tomorrow in London

Serbian Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Slobodan Samardzic said today that the Belgrade delegation will propose that direct negotiations be put on the agenda to members of the Contact Group's negotiating troika tomorrow in London.
During tomorrow's meeting, which is a continuation of consultations with the troika which started in Vienna, the Belgrade delegation will propose topics for discussion, the Minister said and added that there are five sub-topics which our delegation will present tomorrow.
The Belgrade delegation, headed by Samardzic and Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, will meet tomorrow in London with members of the negotiating troika, which will then meet with a delegation of Pristina on September 19.
The troika consists of representatives of Russia, the US and the European Union - Alexandar Bocan-Harchenko, Frank Wiesner and Wolfgang Ischinger.
Samardzic said today that Serbian top officials decided that local elections in Kosovo in municipalities with majority Serbian population be held at the same time as local elections in other parts of Serbia.
He said that only those elections in Kosovo-Metohija will be relevant for Serbia.
