The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that at the continuation of the first session of the tender commission in charge of the public tender for sale of 93.07% of the total registered capital of the Novi Sad cable manufacturing factory, currently in restructuring, that the public opening of the bids for sale of the company were held.
According to the statement, the first session of the tender commission began on August 29. At the continued session, which was held on September 14, it was decided that tender documentation was bought by 1st Point Holdings Ltd from Cyprus, and Tele-Fonika Cable from Poland.
It was also established that the sole bid submitted within the deadline of August 17 was made by the company 1st Point.
On the basis of qualification analysis and additional documentation and opinion of the Privatisation Agency advisors, the tender commission confirmed that the sole bidder fulfills the conditions set in the public tender for sale of 93.07% of the total registered capital of the Novi Sad factory, following which the sole bid was opened.
Financial and legal advisors of the Privatisation Agency will conduct an assessment of the bid, which will be presented to members of the tender commission at the next session, within 30 days of opening the bid.
