Agim Ceku's statement devalues efforts of international community to find compromise solution

Serbian Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Slobodan Samardzic said today that the statement of president of the interim Kosovo government Agim Ceku that Kosovo parliament will declare independence of the southern Serbian province on December 10 is another empty promise to Kosovo Albanians.
Samardzic said that the statement devalues all efforts of the international community to reach a compromise solution to this difficult problem.
He said that this statement is not really a challenge to Serbia, because Serbia has already got accustomed to such statements from Albanian top officials in previous months and years.
Rather, this is a challenge to the international community, the Contact Group and the troika, the Minister said and that is why the Serbian government believes that it is necessary that the international community, all countries of the Contact Group and the negotiating troika react to this statement.
